Running erratic at lower speeds?

Thinking of taking it to the dealer tomorrow...

It's just running a bit erratic at low speeds...RPMs kinda jump around...not smooth...

It's really not THAT bad but with a little over 5000 miles I figure it's worth a hook-up to the computer just to make sure...

2SS Auto...

Anyone else having this?

You'll have to define "jumping around" in regards to the RPMs. Some movement in the RPMs is normal.

Is it all the time or just at start up?

Mine does that the first mile of so. After that it's fine. Kind of a faint surging.

I had the same issue, until installing a Cai, ported throttle body, and a Janetty tune... Issue, no more

OP, do you have an automatic or a manual tranny? Mine sounds similar at slower speeds due to what I believe is the AFM kicking in and out. Just a thought couldn't hurt to have the dealer take a look.

You may have a "weak" MAF sensor.

Chase,

Thanks for replying fast. Do I get a new one from GM? It's under warranty.

But I'm planning on some upgrades, an intake and exhaust. Do they sell aftermarket MAF's?

Well hell, didn't realize I need a Torx driver to get the MAF Sensor off

Guess I'll have to check if I have a weak sensor later.
