XS-Power long tube headers camaro ss
I first saw these xs-power headers on a discussion post here on camaro5 and decided to do some more research. After a few days of digging around the internet and youtube listening to sound clips I decided that I was going to give these headers a shot. So I ordered a set and they came in yesterday. When I first opened the box I was very impressed with how the stainless was polished to a mirror like shine. Also included was 100ft of exhaust wrap (not sure if im going to use it or not) but it was included with the gaskets and clamps. Looking at them you would probably not see a difference between these and a pair of headers 3-4 times the price. So far from what ive seen and heard im very excited to bolt these up.. so on that note time for the install..
Im not going to do a review on the install since its been covered by a few previous posts like this one http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125476 The install was somewhat easy other then laying on my garage floor ( a lift will come in handy). Once installed I was very ecxited to hear the finished product on the vehicle, and after turning the key i had a smile ear to ear. I have the xs headers stock cat back and an aftermarket axel back and the car sounds amazing!!! It made my car sound like a camaro should sound! At wot it has an angry growl but much to my surprise doesnt drone on the highway like I thought which is awesome bacuse I drive 45 minutes to work. All in all I am Very impressed with the quality and sound of the headers, with anyone planning to mod their camaro this sould be one of the first places to look. I will upload pictures and videos within the next few days of the car and how she growls. |

I put these on my first Camaro. I had to dent the drivers side header because it was rubbing on the steering shaft. Hopefully they got that corrected. It only rubbed when making hard turns but it was definitely noticeable.

Very nice. You did as many of us have. Compared, researched and decided there are a few decent brand headers out there that wont cost an arm, a leg and half your income. Enjoy!

I have the XS Power long tuges and full exhausts set up minus the cats. I love the sound and I get a lot of compliments on the sound.
Here's a walk around clip of my car idling. http://youtu.be/1xS1hSQum_I

Just Installed my XS Power full exhaust.. It's probably one of the best sounding exhaust systems I heard on a Camaro especially for the price!

Anyone have it on a L99, and how bad is the drone at hwy speeds? Any sound clips on an internally stock car without a power adder?
