Too bad most people think LPE is expensive. Their price for an hour of shop time is in line with everyone else.. Products are the best you can get, and they stand behind their parts and installations with a warranty most could only dream about offering.

You and I see Value, at a well run company.
Quality products, installation and customer service are not expensive. They are PRICELESS

catch cans are cheap... worth adding in my opinion.

SC2150 had started a thread - it is a sticky in the Forced induction area of the site.

Here's 11,485 miles of catch can accumulation. I've got the Elite catch can,
the RX RevXtreme may catch more - but haven't seen any side to side
comparisons to prove it on a Maggie and both company's seem to respect
each others product. My Elite is polished and matches the SC nicely,
otherwise might have tried the RX. The only downside, depending on how you look at
it, is RX has a drain valve and is sealed, the Elite the can bottom screws off and you simply dump it.

Garth, you have 11,000 + miles on your Camaro? pretty good for only 6-7 months a year.

Get the new clutch installed yet?

26k on Camaro, 21k on LPE engine ~ 8500 per year. Includes driving to CfestII last year and driving to this years CfestIII. Club events and carshows as far as Nebraska - bought it to enjoy!

Clutch went in Thursday/Friday.... 100% pleased with it so far. Streetable, but learning curve like jumping from one manual car to another. Still need the 500 mile city driving break in before serious testing. Hopefully sycros are still good and caught it early enough. I took alot of measurements in case the ZR1 clutch goes back in the future. ZR1 clutch was in great shape..... hopefully the Ideal master cylinder you ordered does the trick. No disengagement problems now by a long shot. Total ZR1 CX Max assembly weighed 56 lbs, Street Slayer RPS Triple Carbon was 34 lbs. Pedal effort is very close to stock...... much easier on the hydraulics. Time will tell...

post #456 is promising and good one to followup on for you for comparison

Have you recieved the upgraded master cylinder yet?

not yet.

I have my local service tech from Portsmouth Chevrolet coming over some night this week to give me a hand. He's going to help me install the new Zr-1 clutch, set up the new clutch hydraulics, and stab the trans.

I'm still waiting on the powder coater for the lower control arms to be finished, before the car can be completely put back together. All parts are on the table in the basement, waiting to be installed.

here are some pic's of my lower control arms... back from the powder coater.

these have been modified so the rod end in the arm (it's 1/2 of the end link) will work with Pedders ZL-1 rear sway bar.

I have almost as much time in these as Stratman has in his paint job! LOL

Looks great Dan! I need to get off my butt and see if the new sway will fit with the weld wheels on. It seems like I waste at least 5 hours everynight sleeping.
I think I remember Pete saying sleeping was over rated.
