A few questions for the brotherhood! I'm within driving distance of LPE and am considering having them do a package for me on a '10 SS

Do you get a dash tag/serial number that is tied to the certificate of authenticity?

Does LPE lock the PCM so nobody else can tune it. I'd like to be able to do my own work/tuning on the car if need be.

LPE can list the VIN # on the COA.. They may already. (I would have to putt that paperwork out of the safe to check it).

you would be able to tune it if you wanted to.

My WIFE is glad I don't live that close to LPE.... I would be broke!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about the LPE team.. they know their stuff and are #1 in customer service.

Ok. I know way back when ls1 cars first came out I had checked on them building a car and they were locking the PCMs because they were at the forefront of tuning and weren't sharing some of their tuning "secrets".

Anybody know if they offer embroidered headrests?

They do.. Maybe Garth will post a picture (Blue70ss).
I am pretty sure he and some of the others in here have them.

We are in the process of adding serialized tags that will go under the hood. It will include VIN, work order #, etc.

No, we do not lock the computer when we tune the cars.

We have embroidered headrests in the past. This is something we could look into doing again.

Hypothetically speaking, if we were to raffle off tickets for a ride-along with Danny Popp in our Optima Challenge L/28 on the autocross course at Camaro5 fest, would anyone be interested? We are trying to see if there is enough interest to move forward with it.....

I would think you would get a lot of interest at the fest for a ride along with Danny.
