I did something really dumb..
I was trying to do a DIY brake job because I wanted to save the $
andddd yea, pulled a "mekanik". I mistakenly disassembled my passenger side front caliper to the point where brake fluid dripped out of the bottom and the two halves were able to rotate independently because I took out the 4 screws that hold the caliper together. Do I need to put loctite on those bolts since I broke them free? What type of loctite should I use? Anything else I need to do? Brake bleed I know, but what about brake flush since contaminants could have gotten in? Should I anti-seize the two halves? |

The caliper housing bolts are what I took out by mistake. What torque value is it on a 2016 camaro 2ss?

If you removed the four bolts the hold the two halves together you need a rebuilt kit or a new caliper. There's seals between the two halves. You show you drive a 5th gen ZL1 if I remember correctly the ZL1 had a 6 piston one piece caliper. What do u drive?

If you have brake fluid out on the floor, just rebuild the caliper. I would start with youtube
