I don't get THAT feeling anymore
You know the feeling when you drop gears and slam the pedal? The adrenaline rushing through your body, the big freakin smile you can't get off your face? Ya I don't get that anymore...I mean I've gotten so used to the power I'm at now that I get jealous of my friends when they ride in my car! Like I wish I could have that feeling back! LOL but why are mods so damn expensive! I mean I'm saving up but I'm at the power levels where the stock drivetrain parts start to give out so I'm spending money on that instead of HP but at a very slow rate haha. Anyways, I'm just ranting here I guess but I also wanna hear about some of your guys' experience stock or modded. Have you gotten so used to the power that you lost "that feeling" or are you still getting that permagrin?

My camaro has been my daily driver for the last 3 years and the entire time I've owned her I've never gotten tired of the sound of starting the engine or the feeling I get at WOT. There's nothing like it! But that doesn't mean I haven't wanted to continue modding and that's why she's going into the shop next week for a cam kit install! Can't wait!!!

Go buy a $200 shit box and drive it every day for a month. That feeling will returned, and you will have saved thousands in modding expenses.

I agree I was bored with the power of my car within the first 3 or 4 months.......the first month I owned it the temperature was a little lower maybe in high 40s low 50s so it made my f1's not hook well which in return made the car feel like it was way more powerful since it would spin thru alot of gears and under mild acceleration so I think that also added to it quickly seeming to be less impressive. ...........maybe I should buy some hard compound tires and let em spin on me !Haha

Whenever I want an adrenaline rush I take mine out on I-81 in the rain on the worn out F1s. That'll wake your ass up.
