Trading 2010 2SS/RS BLK for 2014 2SS/RS/1LE RED HOT

I just finalized my paperwork at the dealership tonight for my new 2014 2SS/RS/1LE. I couldn't pass up this opportunity to upgrade (IMAO) to a new Camaro. First off let me say that I love everything about my 2010 except for the black paint. I live in CA and trying to keep a black car looking clean it a b***h. So in a few days once my car finally gets trucked up to the SF Bay Area from LA area. It will be Goodbye black and hello red hot.

I already let the dealer know that I would be removing the Flowmasters American Thunder cat back exhaust, Fastlane Pipeline CAI and ZL1 spoiler. In addition to that I will also be removing the skip shift eliminator and Barton short throw shifter which they won't even realize they are gone because they never even test drove it.

My questions for everyone is....

The 1LE comes with the NPP exhaust. Would you change over to the Flowmasters exhaust? I was thinking I might only be able to use the scavenger XPipe off of it.

Will there be any figment issues with install of the CAI on the 2014 model? I hope there won't be

Barton STS should fit right?

Is the use of a skip shift eliminator still useable for the 2014?

I'd keep the NPP over the flowmaster. I have the same catback and my buddy has a '13 with NPP. I love the flowmaster sound but the NPP sounds awesome and fits better.

I don't think you'll be able to use the x-pipe, the stock exhaust is 2.5" and my American thunder is 3", assuming yours is too. A exhaust shop could make it work but i'm not sure it's worth the effort.

^ +1. I've always put flow master in my vehicles but I love the npp. Stock it sounds great wide open. If you really want it to sound great long tubes and no cats and the thing is a monster. Very deep and growls. I have my own mild to wild switch so it's nice being able to have the deep sound or make it quiet if you get tired of it.

Keep npp, 1le comes with a short shifter already. Your spoiler probably wont work on new body style

The spoiler won't transfer over, but everything else should be just fine. As for the exhaust, I'd probably keep the NPP myself.

Best regards,

Thanks. I didn't realize that the 1LE comes with a STS. I figured the spoiler wouldn't work with the new body style. I just plan on selling it but it looks like I will have exhaust and a Barton STS for sale soon as well.

Does anyone happen to know the reduction of the throw on the GM 1LE STS compared to what my stock SS shifter is. I just went back to stock for the shifter and the throw is like night and day between the Barton.
