New 2015 1LE. Good price?

So a dealer is offering me a black 2SS 1LE with the dual mode exhaust and RS package for 39k. It comes to about 43 out the door after tax and licensing. Is this a good deal? I'm located in Northern California if that helps.

Any advice is appreciated! Thank you

That's what I paid, 0% interest, the same car, no sunroof, and I assume Nav is part of the 2SS RS package.

I had 2 other dealers not even touch that price on 2SS automatic cars, one had the blue interior and other had the orange interior, 41,900 was as low as they would go. So I thought 39,000 for a 2S 1LE was a good deal.

Even at that price, I had two tell them no, till I got the 0% finace.

TrueCar used to be great, but then car industry got pissed, Honda sued TrueCar, and long story short, they don't show close-to-best deals anymore :(

I usually search the whole country for pricing, and once I find the lowest, I base that as my example pricing and ask that from my local 'spoiled' dealers. I use AutoTrader for the search, but I've seen some others use Cars.com successfully, too.

I offered 40K out the door, which I felt was fair considering I plan on paying the full price in cash and that the 2016s are well on their way. They would not budge. Any thoughts? Does anyone know any good dealers on the west coast?

I once made a deal for a '13 1LE 1SS for $32.3K out the door from Boardwalk Chevy in Redwood City (dealt with Tim Boone). I bought two Corvettes from him before, and he provided best deals in the country at the time for them. Since he's an hour or so driving away from you, you might want to check just in case.

I really appreciate the advice! Hopefully I'll find the right deal soon because I test drove a 1LE in July and I have been obsessing ever since

As usual I go off topic.
You have one of those rare factory 454 black short bed Chevy SS pickups??
I love those. Always have. Nice truck.

FYI , I had a ONIX Black 1990 SS 454 PU I bought new from Sands Chevrolet vin# 1GCDC14N4LZ168230 . IT HAD THE TURBO 400 TRANS AND 3.73 GEARS . It was a slow dog that got terrible fuel mileage . it was more hype than go . It was the only Chevy I have ever owned that I wished I never bought .

I do have a 454 SS! My dad bought it new in 1990, and it's faster than you might expect and certainly more fun than GONIF seems to think. Just finished a full engine rebuild and installed a brand new Turbo 400 trans from Summit. I would post pictures but poor Sasha (that's what I named her) has been sitting outside for a while and was my dad's daily for years so she looks a bit rough.
