i believe that G.M. will eventually build the Z/28 again, they have followed suit with all other models of the Camaro so far,...as well as beyond(ZL1,1LE)..it's coming,we just dont know when, but G.M. knows, they stand to lose too much $ by not producing it,there are alot of people out here that would buy one,

sense the sarcasm?

If they do produce a Z/28, it won't be out for a year or two at the soonest, if so... then I might get one as a sibling to my SS.... or Maybe a Big brother ZL1... hummm...

I fully agree but with an interesting twist of sorts..what has GM done since the inception of the 5th gen? keep it fresh..so I see a gap here before the 6th gen comes into play..everyone is going to want a new and bold 6th gen so the marketing at first won't matter if they use the nameplate of Z/28..but there is a year or two that will be a gap before it comes out and they are still gonna have to sell 5th gens during that span..are you following so far? I look forward to a Z/28 for mid model '13 or '14 call my bluff, it makes marketing sense

The ZL1 is what was going to be called the Z28. Delays, bailout hearings, the almost canceling of the Camaro in general and finally the controversy of what exactly a "Z28" is or should be killed it for the 5th gen. I would be very surprised if one materialized this generation. The 6th gen is a shoe in, but the ZL1 is your Z28. You just didn't want it called that so they didn't.
