Buzzing and Tapping noise from rear

I hear an intermittent tapping noise coming from the rear (think its antenna, or trunk area) when i'm at a complete stop. noise comes and goes.



also an intermittent buzzing noise from rear whenever i accelerate, i thought it was only while using the handsfree phone feature in the car, but it also happens when i dont use the handsfree feauture. Its starting to get annoying!



anyone else experience this madness?!?!?!?

supercrhis, if you ever get the time I would suggest having your dealer take a look at the vehicle. Hopefully they'll be able to take care of this for you. Le us know how things go for you.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I too have this issue. Usually right after the car turns over and I sit there for a minute or two I hear three distinct taps. From what sounds like the roof. I've been able to replicate the noise exactly by just tapping my finger on the roof. It's anoying, but not knowing what it is.

Slowmaro95;what your hearing a few minutes after start up, is the fuel pressure check. It will happen every time you start the car after its been sitting for some time. Its completely normal. Does it sound like a person with a ring on tapping it repeatingly.

^^^Bingo! Yes, it does. I could replicate the sound almost exactly, but couldn't wrap my head around what would cause it. Couldn't recall hearing it the first few months of owning the car, but pretty much hear it everyday when I leave work after an 8hr shift. Thank you sir, one less thing to be paranoid about
