I'm not going to get my car in blue but I believe it should at least be offered in blue because many people want it on their cars and it was my 2nd color choice.

HA i called this months ago, c'mon you should know they arent going to make the SS available in all colors. Im still sticking with Black, Silver, White, Cyber Grey and Red will be the only options for it.

And no one would listen to me.

I think the blue SS would look nice -- still getting one in black though

I'm much more worried by the missing 550hp under the hood than by the color of the hood ...

The Mustang Cobra has always been available in fewer colors than the V6 and GT Mustangs. In 1993 the SVT Cobra Mustang was only available in 3 colors and in 1996 it was only available in 4. Why? I don't know. One must presume that it makes it easier on the manufacturer if lower volume cars are produced in fewer colors. And the V6 Camaro is anticipated to outsell the SS Camaro by more than double.

The camaro since its inception has always been offered with at least one if not two blue colors at launch and throughout its long run until 2oo2. If you are comparing the Camaro to the Cobra, you are comparing to the wrong car. The Mustang V8 has always had additional exclusive to V8's colors giving even more options than the V6 because they know their audience well.. The V8 if anything should offer more color's than the V6 even if there is a premium price for some like the red jewel..

SVT Cobras have been the lowest production volume Mustangs.
Camaro SS is planned to be the lowest production Camaro model.
How is this an invalid comparison?

The 2007 and 2008 Mustang brochures show the exact same colors (and number of colors) available on both the V6 and GT Mustangs. Apparently you are wrong that "Mustang has always had colors exclusive to the V8".

And you apparently missed my earlier post, where I said that I had been hoping to buy a Camaro SS in blue with white stripes myself. I'm right with everybody else who WANTS them to offer the SS in blue. I am just trying to understand what reasoning they had in not offering blue on the SS. Again, it must provide some advantage for them not to, or else they would, right?
