I think this "limited availability" disclamer in advertising has an adverse effect with people sitting on the fence as to whether or not they will buy a Camaro. More than once I've had people approach me in parking lots and at gasoline stations to admire mine but then say that they "heard" you couldn't buy one! How does somebody who wants to buy a Camaro (or any product) hear that you can't buy one and accept that? Why would they not go out and do some research, shop around, investigate and ask questions? People who act like that are wannabe wannabe's. If you really want something you go after it and don't take no for an answer or let someone else tell you what is or is not available.
