Tires

For our cars Goodyear F1 SC3Rs. They wear quick so I use the regular SC3s.

I currently use SC3 because like new takeoffs or old stock new tires are quite a bit cheaper than new ones and still perform just as well in my experience.

I also got a set of ZLE wheels earlier this year with SC3Rs and plan to try using them for just a session or two per day at some future events to eke their life out as long as possible, once I have better pads and SRF fluid in place that should handle them. I have been advised to flip them on the rim halfway through their tread depth to prevent cording the outside edges early at -2.8° front camber. So far I have only used them for 2 sessions at NOLA and they were over 2.3 seconds per lap faster even with my brakes overheating and 6 month old StopTech 600 fluid that boiled slightly at the end. I was surprised how intense of an experience it was with the extra cornering speeds and trying to adjust braking, turn in, and throttle application points to maximize the extra available grip! I may try takeoff slicks like Pirelli DH once they are used up. Or I might put an autocross tire on them and do more of those events.

Hoosiers are supposed to be the fastest option if money is no object but they are also said to be addictive. I'm told a fresh set would be at least a second per lap faster than SC3Rs.
