Yes. Agreed. I have 17x7" radials on the front. Also hear it will sway more with those wide tires.

I ran bias ply in the rear and the stock 20s in the front in the 8th and the car was tracking terrible. It would of been terrible in the 1/4. I put on a bias ply in the front and it was a night and day difference on how the car tracked. It was very on edge with the 20s in the front.
