Chrysler 200 short commercial

I know a lot of fellow natives from Detroit took a lot of civic pride out of the original commercial. With that in mind, isn't re-badging the Sebring the exact definition of asking you to lower your standards when buying a car?

Have you been in a 200? Night and day difference from the crapheap that was the Sebring.

Still not 100%, but definitely a huge improvement in build quality, materials, and design.

Dodge seems to be a better car company under Fiat...stopped by one of their lots the other day to look at trucks...I was impressed with most of their lineup!

The leather in Dodge/Chrysler cars right now...damn nice!

Yes I have and yes its an improvement over the Sebring, but what isn't? Just my opinion that the commercial would have had more impact with a better car like the Charger or 300. Its a great commercial until you get to the nuts and bolts of it. I say that without getting into what the city of Detroit is really capable of.....

I would agree, but the commercial's concept was centered around Detroit...and the Charger/300 are built in Brampton, Ontario. The 200 is built in Sterling Heights.

I like the it..

And Dodge has really capitalized on the Avenger/200 being built in Detroit. The 300/Charger/Challenger or for GM, the Camaro and Corvette cannot say the same.

Ford could however do a campaign like this with the Mustang and say "Imported from Detroit"
