On a 2013 2SS how do i get my mirrors to not auto dim, they are way too dark and i want the windows tinted....otherwise i wont be able to see with tint and dimmed mirrors at night.
Any suggestions????

You'd have to disconnect the wire most likely, as the auto-dimming is built in with the headlights, ABL, etc.

On a side note though - they don't really dim that much. What tint are you going with out of curiosity?

Shouldn't the tinting help prevent it from dimming down because the light wouldn't be as bright hitting the rear view mirror?

One could always cover the light sensor on the dash, but I would think that would make your headlights be on all the time.

I've got 15% on my rear and never have a problem with the rear view mirror, it dims like it should and when it doesn't I can see fine.

On my sides I have a bit lighter tint and again same thing with the driver's side mirror, works fine for me.

Side mirrors or rearview? Rearview mirror sensor is in the mirror itself.

I find that my rear view doesn't dim enough.
