What does the jury say about turning off all the nanny electronics for the 1/4? Could those things cause the car to "bog" down?

Leaving the controls on has seen to work the best. With the current setup on the car, even with controls on, it's very easy to get wheelspin. I can only imagine what would happen if I turned them off, lol.

Out of 5 passes I tried one with T/C off and it was wheel spin for the better part of 60'. No go for me, need more practice I guess.
T/C on worked well, at launch I just try not to let the wheel spin so the engine speed management doesn't kick in that results in a little hesitation. I find it easier launching doing my 0-60 mph runs on dry, clean blacktop/asphalt but that may be from not being so pumped like at the track. I launch from idle with my auto.

I launced from idle on all four of my runs and my times were iffy. TC was on and I was in D not S. When the light turns green do you guys floor it? Or do you ease onto it for a second or two and then mash it? Just trying to figure out how to get my 60' under 2.2x

Automatic, oh and I did go through the water box all four times and did a quick burn out. I've been hearing not to go through the water box if you have street tires? I didn't think I was sleeping or spinning when it turned green but maybe I did for just a second, can't remember.

To me that first to second shift is the most important. Third just needs to be quick as hell and 5500 maybe a little higher seems about right. Let me know how it goes. If you're at the Camaro5fest you'll have a great chance to try it out! Only 36 days.
