SS, it's not everyday a young man gets the opportunity to get a new model cool as hell car. I think if it were me, I'd regret not getting the SS in about 10-20 years from now. Get the Camaro. New and improved, you don't need a mullet anymore to drive one, I shaved mine off in 1985--got-r-done.

Camaro.

The Porsche is out of the question imo even if it was your dads. They are just too expansive to maintain and fix if something goes wrong.

If I was going to buy a Vette, I would buy a '07 or newer especially for that price. You can buy used '08 Vettes almost brand new (less then 5k miles) for around $35k depending on options.

Let's think about it two used cars. One not a C6,second one why?I would say that a Brand New Camaro 2ss/rs.You can't go wrong.Would your friends want to drive in your new Camaro or a used car that everyone has.

Interesting place to ask this question.. how many non-Camaro answers do you expect to get here?

That said, get the 2SS/RS.

Camaro of course.

As far as head turning, not even close to a Camaro. If you had a brand new ZR1 parked next to a LS with no options. The LS would get more looks. To common folks most people have no idea what's under the hood etc.

Point in case look at the car shows. Cyber Grey ZR1 all alone with a circle of people drooling on a Camaro.

If it's not a Z06 then it's not worth it IMO. Porsches are ok but maintenance costs are a joke and end up being outright ridiculous. Boxsters are the "poor man's Porsche" also. Your best bet is the Camaro SS. Great engine, looks, and your masculinity won't be in question.

I'd say a vette. They're fun as hell to drive, and if you make it your own, people will know you're not an old man. I have friends that are in my high school with vettes, but not with boxters, and I can guarantee you that it isn't because of price. But if you want a porsche, get the porsche. Depends on what you want in a car. Then again, you are on a camaro message board. As new, awesome, great, and sexy the camaro is, I still don't think it's the same class of car as the boxer or vette. It's up to you what you want to do in the car, so I can't say for you. I know which one I'd get (vette), but that's just because I love those cars more than any other inanimate object.

If you're going to take it to the track, which would you take? I love the camaro just like almost everyone here, but if it's performance you're into, the zr1 is head and shoulders above the camaro. That may just be because my dad has a zr1 and I love it, or it could be because I am a performance fan. If you don't take it to the track at all, the LS would be more useful for you, though.

I'll boycott the overwhelming majority and vouch for your future purchase of an exciting Toyota Yaris. Why my friends have told many many a tale of the gripping, exhilarating experience of being behind the wheel of that peppy little engine that could! Only you should be so fortunate.

I wasn't really informed about prices, but I dug a little bit, and maybe the vette should be priced about 7k lower? Unless it's a z06, in which case I think your choice is made
