Got to laugh (hysterically) at you people that carry a weapon and claim that if you were in a situation such as this,you would have taken this guy out. Yea,sure.
Half of you would have been trying to find a place to hide while you were pooping your pants and the other half of you would have been shooting more innocent people in the head during all the commotion.

While there is a lot of that on the interwebs, keep in mind that due to world events of the past decade there are a lot of us in the general population that have had solid training and experience in dynamic situations where people are trying to kill you.

large gatherings of people are irritating anyways. No need to see a 12 am release of a movie that you can watch at home. I bet the guy left and came back because of the mothers and babies. Some minor things can make a person go postal.

For me its tangled wires and hoses. I just go ape and have a temper tantrum because I have no patience to untangle them.

Now my understands why we do not frequest AMC theaters and opt for others that allow concealed carry. This was a Cinamark, which does allow concealed carry, but it appears no one was carrying.

I always carry when attending events that have more than a few people present, this includes the theaters. In fact, I carry almost everywhere except work (I would there if it were not for company policy).

I read that theaters have beefed up security by adding extra officer patrols. Hmmm, not sure how an officer in his car is going to prevent a maniac in a theater with a gun. The only way I think someone like this can be stopped is by another armed individual. My opinion and anyone challenging it wont change my mind.

My prayers go out to th family, community, and all who have to relive their own trauma(s) again now that this has happened.

Now that's classy. He might not have been in costume, but he's a stand up guy for taking the time out of his day to do this.
