I say 600 hp, sounds more casual, 580 sounds like you're "reaching" for a little more.

The stock ZL1's I've seen on portable dynos all have been 505 and up.

My most asked questions are about the stock wheels. I guess black stock wheels are still rare among non-car people.

And, I was at a car show last weekend, the first with the Cold Air Inductions intake installed. I could not believe how many people pointed it out to their buddy.

I got it for the sound, not the small performance gain!

Ha Ha!! I remember wheeling into a McDonalds to use the bathroom on a looong back road run. There were 2 people standing, talking behind 2 SRT8 Challengers. They just stopped and stared. To add insult, a guy walks between the 3 cars and says, to me only, "Nice Car, Man!"

My 2013 A6 made 475 with a Roto-Fab CAI and no tune. Added a Tune and it put down 496 on a Mustang Dyno. So if I am around Car guys (Car shows, Cruise ins etc...) I tell them the RWHP numbers. If I am just out and about and people just stop and look at the car because it looks bad ass, I tell them the Crank HP (With the estimated mods added on...lol).

lay people

Matter of fact yesterday a guy asked me about the car. He was an off duty cop but I didn't take him for a gear head so I was giving him the half ass answers because it's easier than actually explaining it to people who don't know what you're saying. Then he started talking about the Mustang he had before his kid was born and what he had done to it. So I started giving him the full answers and he got it.

I always liked Harrison Ford's (Bob Falfa) line in American Graffiti... "More than you can handle"
