M6 noise when accelerating.

When I accelerate from a stop I hear and strange noise before the clutch fully engages. It's like a rotational bumping noise. Best way I know to describe what I'm hearing. I can also slightly feel it in the car as well. Any ideas? Normal M6 noise, or something I should take to the dealer to have checked? The car has 2100 miles on it. Best way I describe the cadence is. This is as the clutch is released and I am leaving a stop. Bump.. bump. bumpbumpbumbumbum. Then it stops. Hopefully that makes sense.

Does it stop when the clutch is fully engaged? If so, I would say it's the clutch, not the transmission.

Yes, goes away completely once I let the clutch all the way out. I'm really beginning to think that whoever had the car the 46 miles before I got it severely needed an education on driving a manual transmission. This clutch just doesn't "feel" right in this car at all. They either attempted a burnout that didn't work at all, or they had to slip the clutch up and hill to move it around the dealer's lot.

you will be surprised... it might be that way from the factory.. My pressure plate went bad at 5000 km. They forgot to toque it properly..

Try riding the brake in first just off idle putting a slight load on the drivetrain. I had the same noise on my 2010 and the same in my new 2012 2ss rs usually below 1000 rpms and it will do it in all the gears but its the most noticable in 1st
