If they made LLT cams with shorter duration, higher lift, and an extra HPFP lobe, I would get a set. Need stiffer springs too.

Agreed.

So whats the deal? If 390ish crank HP LFXs are possible with cams and a tune, then we shouldn't be missing out on that.

I'm assuming MACE has a reason, but I can't understand why they have never done an LFX (US or Australian based) and showed everyone what they are truly capable of. Maybe I'm just not aware of it and they have done that? But all I've seen from MACE are claims of what the product should be capable of. No actual proof, or video, or anything.

Don't take that the wrong way...I have great respect for MACE, and I know how long they have been working on this product, and I can't imagine how much time/effort/money has gone into this. I have seen several times where they offered to pay for things out of their own generosity, and to me, that says that they believe in the potential of their product. I'm almost shocked they are still pushing them after all the setbacks I've seen. But from a marketing standpoint, it seems like a fail.

If they were to take someones LFX Camaro here in the states, do the cams and the tuning (even if they wanted SVS to do the tuning) and showed everyone "hey look...we really CAN get xx HP out of these" they'd sell much easier.

Just my .02

I hope we see more to this story.

Will push to get post in detail soon. Needless to say, we have already replicated the results as advertised on a customers car in the US before DGMs, same tuner same dyno and that we can now directly offer tuning advice if required, 100 percent.

Best Regards,
Steve

Same tuner as it was done by Tampa Tuning? If this can be Ironed out i think we have enough interest to do a group buy on cams, just a matter of showing us the results here in the US.

Florida owners, Tucker does the cam installs (he is a GM tech as well from) for under $1000. And add $350 if you want latest timing chain set included. They have an AWD dyno as well.

Phil is not far from him for the tuning:

I am also going to talk to my original tuner on Monday, was feeling a little off this week about doing a dyno run for me this week to get more detail on where everything is at as well... I will say the car is more powerful, it sounds better and definitely louder/deeper(I may have to put mufflers on it).. I think between what Steve is pushing for and a dyno run we will soon have it all together.....

Yes, full shop with chassis dyno and is a GM certified tech (Chevy). He used to be the one at the Chevy dealer that did all the timing chain warranty work on these. He does them less than 1/2 the $ we charge at the dealer.

Was on the Discovery Channel for one of the car show episodes as well.

Well, I would add timing chain to my install as I'm almost 70k miles now. So, is he supplying the parts or do we? I had asked Matt at FSP to price it too, but haven't heard back from him. He usually does my work and tuning.
