Apparently my fiance Skip is having trouble with the road wrap and doesn't like that it wrinkles. I told him it was ok. Cracks me up.

Yeah, it wrinkles a lot. Lots of bubbles too. Guess that tool would help. I thought the 6" wide roll was tricky, bet the 18" rolls are a bear.

Like I said, it'll look like hell, but who cares at 70 mph. Just rip it off the moment you get there.

lol it does look like hell, but it's worth it to protect your paint! Just do not take any pics of my car while it has the wrap on it

Okay. I put it on mine and made it half way to SA and it was flapping off and was all dirty. So I took it off. :(

Road Wrap is easy to use and works well.

Uh-oh - hope that doesn't happen to mine, but I'll find out shortly as I'm heading out in 5-4-3-2-1.... GONE!!!

Road Wrap sucks. It started peeling up almost instantly and when it started flapping in the wind it left glue on my hood and front fascia. Hopefully a good claybar will get it off, but I'm supremely disappointed. If I applied it wrong and has to be completely smooth with no bubbles or creases in it, then they falsely advertise the ease of application.

I'll never buy this stuff again

I open trailered the car from Texas to Florida behind a truck that is lifted and has 35" tires. I put on oversized mud flaps and wrapped the front of the car (and the mirrors) with a 24" wide cling wrap bought from U-Haul. It was $25 and is enough to wrap it for several trips. Friends though it was crazy to bother, but when I got to FL I found a couple hits from rocks. No damage to the car because of about 4 layers of wrap.

Bought an enclosed trailer right after that!
