Bull...those numbers are WAY off - especially for CA. 70 mph on a freeway is standing still! Glad Oh and Virginia is raising their speed limit some places. We too have some 70 mph freeways - then you can't do less than 80!

Just so you know, as of January 1, 2010, Illinois no longer has a split speed limit. If you have a trailer, you can do 65mph now, no longer are you restricted to 55mph. Also, as a general rule, stay at, or around 73mph, and you won't get stopped. 74 mph and up will make you fair game to most city/counties that are out there. ISP is a bit different, but it's hush hush.

Why is there no data for some of the states? TomTom fails.

Those numbers are probably pretty close to the right thing. If you live in a city where everyone drives twenty over on a interstate/bypass, don't think everyone else in the state is driving that fast also.
Nowadays they will charge you extra on your ticket to help out with lack of state funds. They do that in GA and as the sounds of it most states are needing money about now, so your state might have some sort of super speeder ticket coming soon too. |

Hmm. I usually go about 76 here in OK. LMAO.
No wonder I pass people a lot. They're all going 63-68! - X

I don't know where they got their data, but it's off.
