RotoFab induction results
We had done this 2010 IOM SS M6 back in Aug. and all the customer wanted was sound...LOL . We added SuperMaxx LT's w/ cats and kept the stock mid-pipes and axle back + a Dyno Tune.
STOCK AIR BOX AND FILTER Results : 406 rwhp / 403 rwtq The customer then wanted a little more sound after hearing our 2010 SS with the LM II, so we added that a couple weeks ago. I then got a call about adding a little more power so I recommend a CAI and Re-Tune. We chose to go with the Roto-Fab which is what we used on our 2010 SS and found it to work very well. We did a pre-dyno since he had added the axle back and some aftermarket 20" wheels and the results were just about the same. Results : 406 rwhp / 402 rwtq ..had torque spike, so I put the cursor on to note realy TQ # We then added the Roto-Fab and starting tweaking the tune and again we were very happy in the end with the Roto-Fab gaining power and torque everywhere. Roto-Fab and Re-Tune Results : 421 rwhp / 412 rwtq |

Yes it does. You would be amazed at how much better it sounds under acceleration. Your car will have a louder, more powerful sound when your foot is in it; however, it will sound about like stock under normal cruising conditions.
We've had many customers tell us they intended on adding a CAI and exhaust to their Camaro, but they were so happy with the sound of the 'Roto-fab intake itself they decided they weren't in as big of a hurry to get the exhaust. |
