The Final Countdown......
While families all across the world are counting down the final days of 2008........ many of us are counting down to something perhaps a little more special then the start of just another new year. A date fast approaches that has been circled on our calendars for what seems like enterity. A day that many of us were uncertain we would ever see....... but because of your undying love and support (and some kicking and screaming by fellow camaro nuts within the GM brass) the day we have all been anxiously waiting for is nearly upon us. We are but a matter of days from the rebirth of the Camaro.......I would therefore like to ask the admins to start the final countdown to February 16, 2009, and up that ticker one last time!!!!!! Long live the Camaro!!!!!!!!!

It does seem like the last few months (and years) have flown by. I was just looking at posts about orders and those first orders were over 2 months ago already!! If the next two months go by as quickly, it won't be long at all before we have our cars. We are in the home stretch now!

No one started singing that we're living on a prayer when we were halfway there. I think this is still appropriate, though.

Here - here Punkindrum01. I agree with the countdown. In fact, today December 21st, is Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere, the shortest day of the year. From here on through to when we see our cars delivered the days will be getting longer. And we will have lots of sunlight to just set and look at those beauties in our driveways, and to cruse down the open road with. I am looking forward to those summer Friday nights when I show up at the local car show and all heads are looking my way. Yes - We are better than half way through the time tunnel now and the light on the other side feels warm and looks great.
Long Live Camaro! Quote:

Seems like yesterday when I heard the rumor the Camaro was coming back and it was going to look similiar to a 69.

I can't remember ever looking forward to anything like I am my car. For many reasons.
1) It's a new car which I usually get every 3 years or so. 2) The performance of it. Definitely the most power I've ever owned in a car. 3) The look of it. It'll be a definite head-turner. Will attract admirers and haters 4) This will be the first car I'll actually keep. It's just gonna be so cool to ride around in that awesome vehicle. |
