Thanks Silver14!

The BlackBear tune was good. Before the Camaro I had a 2006 5.3 single cab Z71. Justin tuned it and it was a completely different animal afterwards.

It's been a long day but well worth it! Got up early and made the 3.5 hour drive to GPI this morning for tuning on mine and a buddies car. Then a 3.5 hour drive back home.

So, the car made 446.0 rwhp and 421.0 ft-lb of torque on a tune for 91 octane. Was a little on the warm side today but all in all, very happy with this set up.

Was a blast to watch Ryan work his magic and especially listen to him explain what he was doing along the way.

Bought an aluminum cover a few months back and finally got around to fitting it. Was going to paint it but decided to put carbon wrap on it. Turned out better than I expected.

Went to a cruise in last night that was helping raise funds to support a local dog shelter (Fighting for Fido). Lots of cars and had a good time. They took a great pic of my car while I was there.

I like that Carbon Fiber Wrap, you are going to have to get it on a few more plastic covers to match now!

How does the 3600 feel on the street?

I am running the Yank SC2800 and I am still getting used to it. Just seems like I am running in place sometimes..... I am used to manual cars and small commuter cars... maybe it will just take some getting used to.

Thanks. Yeah, i have been debating on trying to do some of the plastic with the wrap.

The converter is fine, still getting use to it though. I was expecting it to be much looser in the lower RPM ranges than it is. In traffic it really feels weird since I can't feel any shifts with mild throttle. But man, when you get in it, it really goes hard and shifts harder than it ever has before. I like how it locks up above 45/50mph except when I need to be in that speed range as its continually locking/unlocking.

Did it come painted gloss black (rear diffuser) and do you need the side rockers to install splitter and rear diffuser. Thanks

The diffuser I bought (Gm Part #22985096) came painted gloss black.

The rear diffuser will work with any rockers that you choose. However, the splitter is designed to fit into the front wheel flares. If you don't use the wheel flares you will need the Gurney Lip Extension Kit (GM part 23222454) to tie the splitter into the front fascia. You will also need the Front Splitter Bracket Kit (GM part 23227595) to install the splitter.

Went to MO-Kan Dragway last night for Friday fun drags and made a few passes.. Well, 9 passes..
Had a lot of fun and the car is much better than it was last time I took it there.
Before the first pass I reduced the rear PSI to 35 (was 38 from the drive up).

1st pass, well, lets just say the tires spun...and spun... a lot... Traction control was off, tires at 35psi and converter up to 18-2000 rpm at launch. that pass was 2.05 60', 13:90 @ 100.90mph.
2nd pass was better. Traction control on, tires at same PSI, 1.83 60', 12:23 @112.58pmh
3rd pass was the fastest of the night - TC on, same PSI - 1.78 60', 12.18 @112.22
4th pass - TC on, same PSI - 1.87 60', 12.32 @110.11
5th pass - TC on, same PSI - 1.82 60', 12.22 @112.42
6th pass - TC on, same PSI - 1.86 60', 12.27 @110.43
7th pass - TC on, 32 PSI - 1.93 60', 12.40 @110.54, spun a little leaving and on 1/2 shift
8th pass - TC on, 32 PSI - 1.91 60', 12.38 @112.36, spun a little on 1/2 shift
9th pass - TC on, same PSI - 2.02 60', 12.57 @111.91 spun more on leaving and on 1/2 shift.

Was a fun night other than having to rely on traction control. Will be looking for drag radials soon.

Nice work man, jealous you get some many passes in 1 night!

You gotta get off the traction control for sure! It makes all kinds of weird shit happen.

Hope you see 11s with tires!

Thanks! I am looking for 11's with this setup, but also happy with the results using street tires.
