Coming up meet? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Are there any meets in or near CT in the next couple weeks? If not, maybe a few of us could come up with something spur of the moment for just a couple hours somewhere? I'm just about to put the trigger on buying a new camaro 2ss. Before I do though, I wouldn't mind meeting up with a few local owners just to see a few different cars up close, ask some questions, & get some opinions.

You're one day late.. we had a meet yesterday in Central mass.

We should have at least 3 more before the end of the year... there is a meet coming up at New England dragway Oct. 9-10 - most of the camaro's were going on the 10th.

hmmmm.... I'm afraid to ask what happened. Hopefully nothing too bad. Maybe some others will be able to meet up though. I'm thinking maybe a saturday or sunday lunch. Or worst case just meet up in a commuter parking lot for an hour. I really love the looks of the 5th gen. I just never happen to see one unless it's on the highway or going the other direction. I've only seen them up close at dealerships. And of course the person I talk to there says they are the greatest car ever built.

Speaking of New England Dragway, I was there all day this past Saturday helping my brother with his 67 Camaro. He runs bracket 8.5 and did very well. He came in 2nd for his bracket. I was on my feet all day from 6am till 7pm when I finially got home. Then went to the auto cross Sunday and was on my feet again all day. Boy are my feet killing me today!

Ya, I can only dream of putting that much money into my car. Funny thing my brother told me he wants to raise the bars a few inches because his mechanic has been giving him a hard time calling him chicken. They allowed me to get right up to the burnout pad to take the photos. I would have liked to get up in front of the line to get shots but there is a pro photographer there that would have kicked me out.

Well its not a meet..but I talking to some of the guys..I think they are interested in going on Oct. 16th to the car show in Hudson MA.
