WTT 2017 Chevrolet SS (Holden) for Z28
Seeing if someone wanted to trade my 2017 Chevrolet SS for their 5th gen Z28.
My car is a black 6060 manual car. Lowered, velgen wheels, chrome blackout and Holden badges. 25k miles. If it’s not a 5th gen Z28, I don’t want it. |

Sorry to break it to you, but your chevy ss is worth about 10k less than a z28.

Selling prices tell the truth.
SSs are selling for $40,000-$47,000. Manuals command a premium. https://ebay.com/sch/i.html?_osacat=...rolet+ss+sedan Z/28s can be had for $40,000-$55,000. https://www.ebay.com/b/Cars-Trucks/6...0%252D7%252E0L $41,000 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-C...wAAOSwbAJbnIQY Don’t hate the player. Hate the depreciation game. Now that you have been educated, this thread can go back to me asking for someone with a Z/28 who is looking for something different and doesn’t want to get railed by a dealership. |

LOL cherry picks Ebay for his comparison. That $41,000 Z/28 is listed for $45,000 on the dealerships website. There is surely a reserve set on the Ebay auction.
As for the 2 SS's you are referring to.... there are ZERO bids on them and they both have 23,000 less miles than yours. Looking at comparable SS year/mileage, you're looking at $35,000. So the $10,000 difference pointed out by derieu is spot on. If you can get some sucker to trade you, then good for you! |

Bro. I’m not trying to trade a $19k 1LE for a $40k Z28 here. Offering a trade of an impossible to find $40k car for someone elses hard to find $40k car. Unless you have a Z28 and are trying to make a deal, not sure why you are here anyways.
Just showing you examples of what cars really are listed and sell for. Rather than what dreamers think other peoples cars SHOULD sell for. And it was ALL Z28s and SSs on eBay actually. No cherry picking. Free bump? Again seeking a normal level headed person who actually owns a Z28. Last edited by black6; 09-19-2018 at 10:28 PM. |

Within 15% of what I said.
https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=538790 Even the same year as yours starting asking price is 22k, so will probably take 20-21k. Pretty much spot on what I said. Now show me a 2017 manual SS for $35,000 as you claimed. Hell, I’ll give you a greater error of margin than I did and you can even go up to $40,000. |

A 2017 with 25k miles. That's a lot of miles for such a new car.

You are such a tool man. Also, you suck at math. A 15% on $35K is $40,250. So I think you meant smaller margin of error. Also there aren't any 2017 SS's out there with as many miles as yours. Found one for $39,000 with 10k fewer miles. You can try to make it sound like you're in the ball park but NOBODY is going to trade you and take a $15,000 hit. GTFO of here. |

13.6% is what I was off if you want to be exact. 19k vs 22k. Within 15% means 15% or less. If you had to play by the more difficult rules I gave myself, you’d have to find a car $39,760 or less to beat my margin of error. So I gave you even more room to prove how un-aware of current values you are. So not only can you not math, you don’t underatand basic English, or economics. But we aren’t here to debate how you car is a 20k car, nor are we here to debate what my car is worth. We are here to trade my SS for a Z/28. However, I would like to apologize for forcing you to look at my thread and for posting in my thread. I wish that you could just not look at it or look at it and not post, but again, sorry I force you to read it and post on here. |

Both parties I'll say this who friggin cares. The truth is no body is gonna trade a z28 for a SS ain't gonna happen plain and simple. It doesn't hurt to try of course but you may as to trade for a Ferrari or a lambo also. It's never gonna happen. Just enjoy your SS or try to sell it outright because a trade just isn't happening. Nothing to do with values it's just nobody with a z28 says " hey I really want to trade my super rare insane sickest sports car ever for a basic run of the mill SS. Just like no guy says hey im so sick of my super hot huge titted slim girlfriend I'm ready for the fat chick that works at seven 11.
