Headers question
Does anybody know if they have headers in production for the 2012 v6 yet? I haven't looked lately but I remember them not being the same cylinder head or something like that

The LFX engine has an integrated exhaust manifold with only one large exhaust port per side. Perfect for bolting on twin turbos but I don't know if any one has done it yet.

You forgot to mention "light" weight and "high flowing" integrated exhaust manifolds, headers aren't equired for the LFX.

The 2012 can't get headers bolted up to it. Solo has developed high flow cats which is where a lot of the restriction is

How did you come up with that conclusion?

I hate to ask this "noob" question but.. What else can I do besides exhaust and intake for power? Seems like this engine isn't meant for upgrading.

Right now, you also have a ported tb available and just forced induction. That's all that's available for now.

I will say they sure better be lighter because the stock ones are heavy! But I think even the lfx could have benefited from headers.

Most say the throttle body is worth it. I don't really know, I haven't invested in it because I don't feel I need it at this point. Most say the tb helps the throttle response and with my mods I don't really have any lag at all so I haven't done it. For you, I would say give it a shot. For 150 it's not that big an investment.

I think the throttle body is worth it, i dont believe in the dead spot b/c i have a manual so it might not be as noticeable as in an auto. But anyways, i did notice some throttle response after a few miles and felt it was a good mod.
