Yes the deck thats in their is pretty decent and has wifi capes

I was not pleased at first with the mylink being gone either. Im not a big fan of the rims - but they are 3pc forged.

Mission accomplished. The connector I ordered yesterday from Amazon was an actual pigtail kit. 4 wires with the snap in connectors already on it. It came with the crimp barrel connectors. All i had to do was snip the broken connector off and strip both ends and crimp both in to the barrels and line up the colors and slide the pins in.

Picked up the car this afternoon. Absolute rocket. One thing, the miles left to empty function stated 108 miles when full. As i drove, it increased up to 135 after driving aways. Anyone seen this before? Anyone that has a ZL1 what do you normally get out of a tank?

Glad you got that ZL1. I look forward to seeing it soon.

Just an idea.......I think the reason why the miles are so low on a full tank is because your car probably has a history of being started many times, revved up to attract potential buyers, driven maybe 1 mile (around the dealer parking lot/test drive), and then shut off. This will kill the mileage and the computer was probably assuming it would go through the same routine with the new tank of gas.
I would recommend resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery overnight.

Yeah, it just needed time to balance out. Thanks for the info. I filled up before I left and it seemed to smooth out. I averaged 18 mpg from Phoenix to Sahuarita, with cruise on at 82 mph in the 75 zones. Since it was reset, it only took big hits when I had to get on it a couple times. If I could keep it under 2K RPM the whole way, it would have been better! But I say not bad for having that many ponies.

WOW! how did you get that info and camera set up?

Used GoPoint BT1 OBDII port scanner, TrackAddict Pro for iPhone, and Race Render Ultimate for Mac. Still haven't perfected the G meter and the phone was bouncing around quite a bit. TrackAddict on the phone grabbed the small video and pulled the data via bluetooth from the GoPoint. GoPro was controlled by TrackAddict via wireless and got the larger video. RaceRender was used to combine the log file and both videos. RaceRender also handled the gauges. mmarx82 had the info on his posts, clarified some things via PMs and provided the base template. Had to play with a bit and there are some quirks, but figured most of it out in an afternoon. Out of 7 sessions, I only got good GoPro video from three. Two sessions had large GoPro files that were black with no sound. Will try to recover them at some point. The other two sessions, I had great log files and phone video but no GoPro video. Might have been operator headspace or interference from nearby cars or other networks.

TrackAddict is a great tool for monitoring track stats and the GoPoint app is a complete OBDII data logger that does not get "married" to a specific vehicle. I have only started to tap the possibilities.
