2011 v6 cold start noise??

Hey there its winteragain and I heard an odd noise while starting up my car. When I stated her up these past couple days the car has been sounding like its making a whine noise. Almost like a supercharger whine( closest I can describe the sound). Any body here know why it is making this noise? The first day it was -10° and it sat for 1 day then started again and its 3° today if that helps.

Only when it's very cold and for how long after the engine is started?

Could it be gear whine ? The oil in the M6 gets a bit thick until the tranny warms up .

I didn't think of that one either, but I did notice how thick the fluid gets on those 0* mornings.

Ya. It must have been just the cold. The noise is gone. Made it first at startup but its gone. I guess Kate hates extreme cold. X)
