Fourth Friday Music Fest and Cruise-In @ Morristown, TN
Loads of Fun at Fourth Friday Music Fest and Cruise-In
4th Friday Music Fest and Cruise-In Join thousands of old fashioned rock n roll, bluegrass and classic car enthusiasts on the Fourth Friday of every month April through October in historic downtown Morristown, TN for a cruise-in and live music. 2009 is our second year and the monthly festivals have been a huge success with thousands of visitors enjoying the bands, fun, food, huge inflatables for kids and show cars. Fourth Friday Fest has become one of the biggest and most popular scheduled events in East Tennessee. The Downtown Morristown Association, Crossroads Development Partnership, the City of Morristown and the Hamblen County Car Club present this event on the Fourth Friday of the month, April through October. Features include live bands playing a variety of 50’s – 80’s music, hundreds of classic cars lining the street, people strolling down Main Street and along the overhead sidewalks, vendors, and great food. Many downtown merchants offer discounts for festivals goers and stay open late so shoppers can get those unique items that only downtown shopping can provide. Vendor space is available but must be secured no later than noon on the Friday prior to each Fourth Friday Festival. Please note that our October 4th Friday Music Fest will not include the traditional Classic Car Cruise-In on Main Street and Main Street will remain open. For the October Fest, Downtown merchants will feature a special sidewalk sale and live entertainment and food. For more information, contact Darrell Williams, President of the Downtown Morristown Association at the Fret Store 423-581-3280. Come join thousands of your friends and neighbors for this free community event in historic downtown Morristown. Looks like FUN! |
