The front pads are identical. Just 4 of them. You have some pics of what you're dealing with?

Its in my #491 post
The pads are for a Z06 and not a ZL1
So the bottom is flat and not curve as on the ZL1 pads

can someone point me to how they apply anti-squeal grease to front pads? i don't see anything specific about the fronts getting lube on the back and i would just like some clarification. also if anyone has a preferred brake grease i'd be interested to hear that too.

Generally you want to coat the backs of the pads where they contact the pistons, also a dab where they touch the calipers and the anti squeal hardware. Naturally keep the grease off of the friction surfaces at all costs.

As for brand I've been using the CRC high temp brake grease. Permatex makes a good one too. I've steered away from the spray on stuff we all loved in the 80s and 90s... lol

thanks everyone for all of the information on this thread! with your help i was able to do the C6 z06 vented piston mod, along with rebuilding all 4 corner Brembos after they were powder coated! I also installed some Goodridge S/S lines too, can't wait to see what they feel like!

Does anyone happen to have the part number handy for the brake bleeder covers? i lost a few and can't seem to find this online anywhere :(

I'm gearing up to do the same! Thanks to this thread and a great shopping list from Nick S.
I could not find Goodridge lines in stock anywhere. I went with Stoptech braided lines for the ZL1.
Just waiting on the lines and a set of EBC Yellow Stuff pads.
First time cracking into the braking system. Will be a learning experience.
