Anyone dare venture to go this route yet?
I have heard the dual note exhaust and its a little too mild, even after the wild switch is open Anyone? |

Headers solve it . . I know . . dual mode is AWESOME . .
At start up and WOT the car tells you " I am bad ass" At cruise, no drone, and a VERY comfortable car for a 500 mile road trip . . How do I know . . . I did it . . |

I have SLP Long tube headers, pulleys, tune and injectors along with air cleaner.
I would NOT want it any louder. It feels every bit the 650RWHP when I go WOT and as Andy said, still nice for that 9 hour ride home from Maryland. No drone, nothing but a quiet rumble. I drove back with a friend, he said it sounded like Nascar when I flew by him. |

I think so Andy. Having owned three different Z06's and my Camaro SS, this car far surpasses all of them...........and I said that BEFORE adding 150 HP to the rear wheels!

I was on the track earlier this week with some Z06s and they seemed pretty kick-ass. Not questioning you but am really interested in understanding what you like about the ZL1 that beats a Z06.

...not sure about that, it's pretty raucous when the valve's open up the mufflers at it's pre-determined point. I for one think it was brilliant design GM has used to pass drive by noise GOV standards, and employ a more open exhaust in the performance envelope on the street.
