Gas cost to C5 fest

I was just wondering if anybody had an idea of how much gas would cost to Indy and back? I drive a V6. It may seem like a stupid question, I'm just curious and I'm looking at the cost of going. Thanks for the help!

Btw my guess is about $350-$400? Am I way off?

depends on where you are in Texas

for me its about 2300 miles round trip......devide that by my estamated AVG. MPG (25).....gets me the estimated number of gallons.....(92) times the ESTIMATED price of gas in Aug. ......and add a little as a "fudge factor"..... better to bring to much than not have enough......so I'm estimating roughly $375-$400 for gas.

so you are in the ball park.

Oh I'm a little north of Dallas. Duh, didn't think about adding that. It's 1,824 miles round trip. I did miles one way 912, divided by the estimated 300 miles per tank highway (that may be a bit high, never burned a whole tank on the highway) times $60 per tank. Took that and multiplied by 2 to get round trip. I just wanted to make sure I was doing it rightish!

Thanks sir nuke!

For some of us that could be at least 3 tanks.
