Awesome. I hate having the lights on in the dash. Lol. Either getting installed next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Place some black electrical tape over them until repairs are made.

Pretty much did something similar when I shut down my skip shift from the PCM/ECU. Just call up another shop or hit up LS1tech and look up posi swaps or symptoms of what you have and look at solutions. Pretty sure a dyno shop could do it.

Yes but the PCM is where those codes come from, these come from the BCM. I do not believe it is as simple to tune out, like I don't think HPTuners has access to the BCM.

http://parts-catalog.acdelco.com/catalog/BuyersGuideSearch.php?BGRequest=1&part=26014607 &catalog=5570&parttype=2072
and it says "2001 V6-231ci 3.8L F/I Vin K"

"If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit." Looks like it fits, so go for it.

He's saying the factory replacement won't fit? Is this the same one you were trying to reuse? If so, is this why it broke? I'm not an axle pro, but I was under the impression the Eaton is an OE-compatible unit, hence, why it would support the OE reluctor ring.

I guess its because the teeth and the reluctor ring are narrower on the 2.73 and 3.08 then then 3.23 and up.
