Yes, identical sounding from what I can tell. I watched your video 20 times before I ordered my setup.

No videos do it justice though. It’s loud. Very loud at WOT. Cold starts shake the garage. But it cruises like stock so it’s all good.

Hey guys ... so just installed this set up and to me .... it sounds good but it’s a bit Tinny ??
Kinda hard to explain just not as crisp and rumbley as I had hoped ....Will this possibly get better as the mufflers “wear in” ?

Can’t say it sounds any different/tinnier than stock. It has the same note on startup and similar at WOT it’s just a lot louder all over. You could probably try a sport axle back and see how you like that...

Make sure the X pipes are NOT coming into contact with anything on the underbody. Specifically the tunnel brace just forward of the X pipe.

What does the X pipe give you , besides removing the secondary cats?

Does it change the sound or is it just for power and flow?

I love the sound in the video, but would the sound be the same with just the Corsa without the X pipe.

I am in CA

I don't have first hand experience on a ZL1 but I do with a C7 Z06 which is same engine obviously and similar exhaust setups. Ditching the secondary cats gets you quite a bit more bark on startup and WOT, probably barely noticeable at cruise/idle. I doubt it would really CHANGE the sound but rather just amplify a few aspects. Perhaps a few HP too.

Nothing wrong with doing just the Corsa if you're ok with cutting your factory NPP system.

Cool , thanks.

I have no issue doing the X-pipe too, just need to find a place that will sell it and install it in CA
