2300 Maggie crankcase pressure
Had the rear main replaced on my car when a new clutch was put in and after about 200 miles i have a small oil spot on my garage floor again. The makes 12 ibs of boost with a 2300 maggie and I run a Mighty Mouse pcv catch can that hooks up to where the oil cap goes. Any experts have any recommendations on how to ventilate the crankcase better so it stops leaking?

Breather probably not big enough.. need to go this route:
PCV version: https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showp...postcount=1684 Started having leaks when I road raced so... Wild race: https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showp...postcount=2062 https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showp...postcount=2075 https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showp...postcount=2126 This worked well — I tested the wild setup by road racing—- big help... Like you under boost, she would leak, caught it early... -Don

I have the pcv version...what’s the difference between the pcv version and the wild race version...like yours my inlet is connected to the valve cover where the oil cap is...only difference is my valve covers are aftermarket katech valve covers |

Bigger lines, no breather, remote hose location to vent. I vent the ‘pressure’ to the CAI. The PCV breather vented oil near the headers when road racing so, going this route I was able to make sure the can caught it. The biggest difference is the hose size and no breather. The breather still caused pressure to build up so this version solved it...
