Longtime headers and tune cause wheel hop??

Went to the track for the first time yesterday and had really bad wheel hop. All I have is longtubes and a tune from RDP. Has anyone else shown wheel hop from such minor upgrades? Already bought bmr trailing arms and if those don’t help subframe bushings are up next.

It's not your headers or tune. The trailing arms will help as will toe rods and bushings like you mentioned. There are mods in the tune to turn off wheel hop control which is just a spark, fuel, ETC limiter so mine is all disabled.

Another shameless self promoting video

I made the same upgrade on my car.
I would just like to point out that even after marking the starting position on the eccentric washer, the geometry of the wheels was not right.
It is necessary to readjust the geometry after installing the BMR arms.

Under torque management, there is "Wheel Hop" Control settings. Whoever did the tuning may have disabled it. Not to say this will fix your wheel hop, but there is a tune setting for it.

2010 Camaros are bad about wheel hop. There used to be some “anti wheel hop” packages that some sponsors would sell here. The headers and tune are not the culprit here.

Yes, I got a 4 wheel alignment after I installed the parts

You are absolutely right.
I have 2009 and the chassis is absolutely tragic.
It was not until 2011 that a remedy began to be negotiated in the form of more rubber for the bushings.

BMR trailing arms, toe rods and poly cradle bushings took care of my wheel hop issues.

The single best thing you can do to curb wheel hop is poly or solid subframe bushings. They suck balls to install, but will cure the problem
