My oil temps were higher then that at MidOhio lol. Got my oil sample back and oil was good for probably another 1500-2000 miles but rather not push my luck.

Im also thinking of getting a dedicated track car.

There was a guy there in a stockish 99 Corvette FRC going 42's so I know my car has a ton more in it seeing as it is faster and has a better suspension setup, just needs a driver

I def did better when I did 3 or 4 runs in a row and I can see that PDE with an instructor would def help in learning those corners better, just not sure I want to start doing PDE's with my car, thinking about picking up a E30 BMW for $3k-4k as it will be cheaper in the long run.

Yeah, I ran into the 275* range in my '95, then added an oil cooler, either way I was running Mobil 1, synthetics help.

The right instructor is worth a ton! First and second instructors were awesome even though their personalities were 180* opposite.

They may be pretty good, but I'd like something that if I hit a wall or hit the grass/dirt and break something it would be meh, I'll patch that up later!

I would still love to take some of those professional courses down south, heard some good things about them and seem like a great time
