Which front coilovers for drag racing? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have the bmr rear drag kit with strange DAs. 15inch conversion. But still stock up front.

I was leaning towards going with the strange DAs up front as well.

Would that be a good choice?

Which spring would you run with an iron dart block?

If you are willing to spend some money go for santhuffs or menscers if they make a front setup specifically for a 5th gen by now otherwise just go for a standard set of AFCO or Strange

Thanks for the suggestions. After looking up those manufacturers, it looks like I'm already shopping on the less expensive side of the market. That's usually not a good thing...

I already picked up a new set of 125# springs that work with the strange struts. I guess I'll give them a shot...

They're definitely not cheap but if you wanna go fast on radials they know what they're doing.

Look into afterworks as well. I had them build my set. Came with a dyno sheet and starting point for them for my setup. They were pretty damn close out of the box.

I have the Vikings all around.Lots of adjustments. So far,I'm very happy with them.

Not trying to hijack the OPs thread but curious how you have yours adjusted if you don't mind sharing? Changed mine several times and didn't really notice much difference in any runs.

Bias ply tires: front were 5 from hard, rear were 5 from soft.
Radial tires: front are 5 from soft, rear are 5 from hard.
Also removed front sway bar and have rear sway bar set at stiffest setting.

I should have asked for a ship date while I was shopping around. I would have paid more for a better set, if I knew I'd have to wait over 6 weeks for Strange.
