I'm kinda partial to the Whipple, so far it's been a good experience although I would like more torque.

I'm real happy with whipple. Don't even know it's there until I get on it. Other than changing plugs every 20k it has been maintenance free for 27k +miles.
Now, all the other drivetrain parts it's broken due to power is a different story but was expected. |

I don't think turbos are any more complex than a supercharger. No belt, brackets, and pulleys to deal with no crank pinning. Hardest part of going FI is probably swapping out fuel pumps, either by dropping the tank or cutting a hole under the rear seat. As TTshovel said, AGP is the way to go on these cars if you want turbos. Also look into the ESS Tuning and ECS Supercharger kits if you want a centri. |

I've had a good experience with my Whipple, been in the car for 3 years, no issues so far and definitely puts a grin on my face when I put my foot into it. I daily drive my car too, and it's not unreasonable on the street.
With the mods you've already got, I'd start at the 3.875" pulley at the biggest.

I like my ESS blower. Belt wrap is great, machine work and layout is top shelf. G3x is a beast on an ls3. BUT...agp would also be a great choice. What’s your power goals? It changes quickly. 1000 is the new 400.

As far as PD SC's go a smaller blower spinning faster = more torque less peak HP and less overall HP capability. Bigger SC less torque more HP and more overall capability as you can see by my numbers. Torque is what breaks things. Centrifugal are easier on parts as they don't get the low RPM torque punch like the PD does and the power is more of a gradual climb. Same goes for Turbo's with Turbo's being capable of the most HP the easiest. If you are looking to stay stock bottom end any will work as they can all break things if you turn them up enough on the stock bottom end. I like my Whipple and where I am at torque and power wise, more lower end torque and it would be even harder to hook (which I have enough problems with) more HP and I really have to be ready to rebuild the engine but I can get over 900WHP on this whipple. With an lsa/kong or 2650 SC you can get to the 1000WHP mark I think.
Personnaly Whipple > Maggie > Centri (they are also really noisey) If I were going for over 1K WHP I would be talking to AGP and going twin turbo but I wouldn't be doing it on a stock bottom end.

I actually wish my Maggi WAS louder! The whine is far too subtle...

My comment about being loud was the centrifugal superchargers. Some sound like damn jet engines, I don't like that. My Whipple is so quiet you would never know it had one no whine, no whistle. The only noise it makes is some air noise as the bypass valve is closing. Though I have seen others make more noise than mine, I think I just have an anomaly. Plus my exhaust is loud.
