So I hit a bit of roadblock before I packed up for the night. The oil galley plug behind the alternator- bullshit hex head/allen key stripped out. So instead of fight with it I'm going to do a sandwich plate. Anybody have one laying around I could buy off of them? And can I verify size with you guys? 22 x 1.5 right? That's what fram's website says anyway.

So a little more research shows all LS motors manufactured after 07 are 22 x 1.5. Earliest I can get a sandwich adapter here by ordering is probably Wednesday or Thursday next week. Anybody have one I can buy off them local? I'll drive all the way to the other side of Dallas if I have to.

She's almost done. Started for the first time today to check for leaks. Not one drop. Still need to tee into the brake booster line and install the wiper fluid and coolant overflow bottle. More heat wrap. Should be driving daily again Thursday.

I was up near 121 and Josey ln by targets and a bright yellow Camaro El camino went by. whos doing that conversion?

She's done. What an absolute monster with the turbo in. I have a few more things to tidy up, but its in daily driver mode again.

I have a titanium turbo blanket for the hotside, just haven't put it on yet. Tried to record some sound today but wife's phone sucks lol. Discovered two minor exhaust leaks, going to address them tomorrow.

Couple sound clips. Did the first one at quite a distance so you can hear how loud the turbo is. Speed limit here in this area is 40, so nothing too crazy. Second video is exhaust under boost. Just first gear.
