the last mystery box I got had a wooden pirates leg, coon-skin hat, #330 Conibear trap, 1 gallon of detail spray, and one white sock. I was so excited, I walked outside and shot my gun. Now I can't remember if this was Adams Mystery Box or from another site I order from.

Mystery box

So I've been looking at adams for awhile to clean up my camaro. I was on their website about to order the amicana shine kit (63$), some detail spray (15$), and some revive hand polish (22$). Once these items were in my cart, I saw something at the top about a mystery box for 30 bucks. I figured he'll, I don't have any of their stuff yet and why not. At least I won't get stuff I already have. This being said, I ordered 2 mystery boxes. Just an fyi , they say you can't use coupon codes, but I put in camaro 5 and still got 10% of each box. I think with 2 boxes and 8 bucks for fedex shipping, I'm in at $63 which is far less than what I already had in my cart. I checked my fedex tracking g info at work and this made me even more excited to get my stuff. My tracking info is showing 1 package and it weighs 21.7 pounds!!!?! Has anyone else received one or two mystery boxes this heavy? I was seeing alot of people getting little boxes with 4 or 5 pounds in them. What am I in for? Anyone else get this much that could clue me in on what I MAY get?

My guess you got a gallon product or 2 1 gallon products which is why it's so heavy. And probably got a couple more items like towels.

Probably just me but I think it's a way for a retailer to move slow moving items.

Probably this.

But some people get some pretty wicked cool deals in there.

Maybe, but it's not strictly dog items. I got detail spray in mine, and that's got to be one of their biggest sellers. The Mystery Box is also a good way to introduce products to people that might not have bought them otherwise.

Bingo!
It's a fair mix of all products across the line; from his top selling Detail Spray to some of the slower moving items. The Mystery Box sales have been a tremendous hit, and that's not because he has products he can't get rid of in them. The cost of the box is $30 and they have a value greater than that of the $30 you'll spend. Usually the value of product you'll receive is better than those from his best 15% off sales!

Yeah someone here not too long ago got a $150 in theirs!
Came with their foam gun and some soap, with a mix of other things.

The mystery box is a deal you don't wanna pass up.

I used to like the idea of the mystery box. I've ordered them several times and usually get about $5-$10 over what it costs and it's product I've got an abundance of.

I've seen/heard of people get Americana, Patriot Wax, wheel whoolie kits and some other nice things that were 3-4 times the value.

Probably going to pass on the mystery boxes in the future. But, it is good for those new to Adam's to hopefully try different products each time.
