The 2013 has mylink so you'll be fine. I have a 2012 with no mylink so I can't which is why I want to change out the head unit

I have no problem listening to Spotify, my play lists or any music app (I have two other 'radio' apps I also use) from my phone through the MyLink in my 2013.

That's good news. How loud is it in a convert? I had a corvette convertible a long time ago and I don't remember. I'm also worried some idiot will put a knife thru it.

I'm heard that all the 1LE's hoods are wrapped. Is that true. Does it come off? I'm assuming the 1LE doesn't come in a convertible?

My 2013 My link system's Bluetooth works for streaming music fine. I listen to Pandora from my phone and music I put on a micro sd disk in my phone. I think the guy who commented his Bluetooth doesn't work for music needs to try to pair his phone to his car again or he has a defective unit.

Thanks. They are actually matte graphite. They shine a little when there is light on them. And no, there is not a 1LE convertible.

IMHO, 2013 was the best year for the 5th gen. The addition of MyLink was a great update.

I traded my 06 GTO for a 2015 1LE a few months ago.

I absolutely love it. I wasn’t fond of the 2015 1LE taillights at first, but they quickly grew on me. The 1LE has L.E.D taillights, so they’re incredibly bright! I love the taillights now.

The 1LE has a very firm suspension, which is borrowed from the ZL1. Doesn’t bother me, because the suspension on the GTO was crap, as you probably know.

While modding the GTO, the suspension was the first thing I invested in. With that said, the firmness of the 1LE is normal to me, but may be a bit firm for others.

Sounds like you would be happy in a 2013 model. And yes, it is the sweet spot of the 5th gen.

The wrap does comes off the 1LE hood, but it may leave the paint stained depending on the color and how long wrap was on there. One member here had his white roof stained after putting wrap on it.

I don't know if he actually used 3M 1080 material or not, but it led me to decide not to wrap the hood on mine. I was originally going to wrap it with 3M 1080 material until I saw his post.

A lot of pre '14 facelift owners seem to talk about how they hate the '14+ tailight update. However, I like the way they wrap around the sides and how they have a three segment pattern on the non LED versions. They also serve to make the car a little wider looking from the back which is a good thing and probably what GM intended with the refresh.

I have a 2011 2SS/RS and I'm fairly certain I had streamed music via bluetooth on mine.

Me too! Not at first, but the they grew on me. Now I prefer them, especially with a bow tie delete.
