Am I the only one?

It's only happened a few times but when it's hot outside and I turn on the AC the car seems to almost stall or delay in moving, it wasn't bad till the other day then it completely died on me 3 times the car has no check engine light or any signs of problems but this keeps happening, I've taken it to the dealer twice and a few mechanics and no one can seem to find the cause of the issue, my aunt's 2015 Escalade has the same issue and my brothers 2012 equinox as well we don't know why this is happening and all are completely lost

That's very strange. The AC does add extra load and it's normal for it to drop rpm when idling but it shouldn't be stalling.

Does it do this after you've been driving for a while?

Bad gas maybe, could have water in it?
How could 3 cars in same area be all doing the same thing.
Common denominator- Gas

This happened to me many years ago in a 3 cylinder Geo Metro rental.

You're gonna need a bigger engine.

Exactly my thoughts, an AC compressor is not going to cause an engine to stall. Three difference cars, not gonna have the same mechanical failure..

Maybe wrong gas? E-85? Have you made any enemies recently that would want to contaminate your gas.

Siphon all the old gas out and put some new gas in. From a different gas station this time like a name brand station. Then, see if it still does the same thing.

do you think the fact it is a V6 has anything to do with it?
