Check engine light...
Last night my check engine light came on. This morning we took it to Auto Zone to check the code. The code that came up was P2179. I have been reading old threads and saw that the k&n ingske can cause this? I have a v6, with the k&n intake with the black tubing. Do I just need to take it off and put the stock on? I just don't want to keep it on if it will cause a problem. :(

I found this, I don't know if it's the same intake but it might be worth a shot to put the stock back on and see if it's still throwing the code

Sometimes adding aftermarket parts throws a code.
-Try checking everything, making sure it is tight and installed correctly. -Check the MAF sensor, make sure it is not upside down or backwards, -try cleaning it the MAF -Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, see if the code resets. - the V6 models are more likely to throw a code when you change the amount of air coming into the system.

K&n is going to replace the intake. They can't send a new one so he's going to send me a refund for it. Something with that intake. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get cel off. Already put stock back on. :(

you can unplug the battery for 5-10 minutes and that should clear the CEL

Go with a CAI, Rotofab, or Vararam... You will not be disappointed.

I'll come back later today and do some research. I'm bummed. I haven't been able to afford to do much, the intake was all I had lol.

Aww, don't be bummed... At least you are getting your money back...
And, for what it's worth, of the top brands of intakes, (CAI, RotoFab, Vararam, Volant, K&N...) the K&N is at the bottom of the list from a performance standpoint... yeah yeah, I know some people will get mad at that last statement, but the numbers do not lie.
