Supercharger rattle

I have a ‘13 ZL1, I have heard of this rattle that is covered under warranty, but what does it sound like, I was idling in my driveway and it seemed like there may have been a new noise? Is it obvious or not.....please help!
Thanks Lou

Pull the supercharger belt off (or just take the tension off of it) and turn the supercharger pulley back and forth with your hand. If it has slop and makes noise, it might be your noise culprit.

It's usually easier to hear with the hood up. At idle, the 'rattle' will sound like a can of marbles. The original bulletin says if the rattle goes away as the engine is rev'd, then it's a normal coupling sound. If the sound remains, the coupler is going bad, indicating it's time for a replacement.

Swapped mine for a magnuson and with only 20k on it it's doing the same thing. It's off to them now for repairs. What he told you about taking the belt off and turning the pulley back and forth is a correct. I could hear mine at stop lights rattling.

I was thinking of just switching to a smaller pulley and solid icolator and calling it a day
