looking at your pictures, what brand/model is your wicker? I want a tall 2 piece like yours. I've seen some, but they don't look very big. I kind of want an obnoxious one for show car. 2 piece looks more sophisticated, more stuff going on.

What is the Z/28 splitter tied into in the front of the wheel well? Is that a Z/28 canard/aero piece or after market? I thought the Z/28 wheel wells had the flares to widen the well and decrease the wheel gap for the smaller wheels. I plan to use get the splitter in eBay but want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

They are special canards made for a conversion without wheel flares. They are just like the Z28 but are slimmer to flow with the splitter and fender. They are a part of the Z28 Aero Kit: Splitter, spoiler, belly pan, front wheel canards. I did not want the whole aero kit; minus spoiler and belly pan. I purchased the just the front end from Maureen at Rogers Chevrolet: Splitter, brackets, front wheel canards and air deflectors. With the money I saved not buying the whole kit, I bought the Z28 Grill.

Has anyone tried removing the front fascia with the Z28 splitter already installed? Wondering if the splitter complicates the install?

I have the Z28 splitter and taken the front off 4 times since then. No more difficult than before.

Should I pay a body shop to install or do the install myself. I was quoted 75 for labor service to put in z28 grille

If it's a reputable shop or someone you trust, that is a bargain from my experience. Getting the nose off was easy. The grill off those tabs...

I almost lost my sanity when I realized I didn't like the Z28 grill with the remaining RS trim over the headlights. I ended up putting the original grill back on with painting all the chrome trim pieces flat black.

Everybody has different luck with that stuff, but, again, I won't do it again anytime soon. I'll pay someone. Just my $.02.

Since I'm not a big fan of the fender flares, this is the kit/parts I like. Do you guys happen to have the part #s for the parts of your conversion? Thanks

I contacted Maureen at Rogers Chevrolet, I told her what I wanted and she did all the work for me. It's pricey, with; splitter, brackets, canards/deflectors, grill, wickerbill and shipping its about $1k.

Will post picks. They lowered the cost to 40 an hr. And took about 1.5 hrs. 60 flat rate. Hell yeah. They're almost done. Should post pics in a bit.
